F'lomolok Festival 2011 2011-09-11 | 0 Diamond[s]  Cheerdancers of SAINTS Pep Squad flying :)The Champion. Opps We did it again. SAINTS or the SLRAP Pep Squad claims again the title of the Champion for the Cheerleading Competition in Polomolok. We once again proved how unbeatable and unkaboggable San Lorenzo Ruiz Academy Of Polomolok is when it comes to cheerleading competition. (Of course, only in our place since we haven't beaten the other groups from the other regions yet lol) The competition/ event was held last Sunday, September 10, 2011 at the grounds of the Municipal Hall of Polomolok. It was for the celebration of the 8th F'lomolok Festival and 54th Foundation Anniversary. It was an inter-municipality competition so basically, groups from other municipalities were there to compete with us, since we were the last year's champion of the same competition. There was a totla of 7 contestants and SLRAP proved to be the number one. ^-^ Although me and my friends (Marla, Mark, Mayricon, and Memie) were not the ones competing at that time, we felt really nervous for the team since the school is our alma mater. We supported the school's team for more or less five years already, witnessing how we usually win.  High School is Cool. After the competition, we went around the ukay ukay corner and looked for shoes to buy (it was only me and Marla who wanted to buy hihi). There were a few shoes we liked pero may damage na. Sayang, it was like the shoes 2NE1 wears pa naman T.T Thenwe waited for Leocille and April, who were on their way from work. Then we bought food (sweetcorn lang pala hihi) at the plaza/ park and ate sa may grandstand banda. April paid for all the sweet corn we ate ^-^. At some point, we remembered how we used to sit there before watching and cheering our classmates and batchmates as they compete for the cheerdancing competition. We walked around Polomolok afterwards, stopping over food stalls and eating whatever we feel like eating. Then when the night falls, we went by the gymnasium hoping we could get inside to watch the free celebrity concert of Sitti, Jay-R, Sexbomb girls, Marcelito Pomoy, and Kissa Mae. We didn't get to come inside the gym so we decided to watch by the big screen sa may grand stand banda instead. There were a lot of people but we were lucky enogh to have a good spot to watch sa grounds. We only watched the performances of Krissa Mae (she's a beauty pageant winner..i dont really know her), Jay-R, and the Sexbomb girls na sina Ivette, Monique and Weng. Their portion was soo long we decided to call it a night. We left the grounds and looked for a tricycle na pumawag sa gusto namin. Round trip kasi cause we want to send April home first pa which is out of the way sa amin. When we finally found one, we hopped in and went home.  It was really a fun night although konti lang kami. Im glad we still get in touch with each other after five years of graduating from HS. High school is where you can really find the coolest and best friends you can have. Im glad i was part of our group, the 4A St. Francis batch of 2006, where the extremes are. :) -------------------------------------- |
