I was on my way home from the review center one night when i happened to pass by a street vendor selling fried grasshopper at the market. On instinct, i bought a pack and ate it at home with my aunt and brother. Yes, it's edible and i think i can consider it an exotic food?! I've even heard people from Thailand eats it too.
